If you're interested in purchasing natural products, whether it be hair care, skin care, or edibles, Maple Holistics is a great source for such items. They have a wide variety of products to choose from, many with therapeutic properties and each made with pure high quality ingredients. Some of the therapeutic products offered consist of shampoos, facial masks, and bath soaks, as well as many other options that come available as they are consistently researching and creating new lines to fit everyone's needs.
I recently had the opportunity to review the Maple Holistics Witch Hazel Toner. This toner is made with a simple formula of water, witch hazel, aloe, glycerin, and lavender essential oil. There is no alcohol in this product, so it will not dry out the skin as other toners do. This toner will nourish the skin while tightening to keep a smooth complexion and help cure any irritations, which makes it especially great for acne prone skin. This toner will help clean and clear blemishes while soothing the skin, but be careful if you have sensitivities. In using this product, I found that it tends to burn my skin around the forehead. I'm assuming this is my most sensitive spot on the face, as it leaves my skin red with a burning sensation. I have noticed the toner helps keep my face feeling smooth and heals the blemishes, but the burn and the sticky residue is not my biggest fan in the product. I have to be very careful in how I use it, applying mostly to enlarged pore prone areas such as the nose, chin, and cheeks to keep from irritating my skin. I also dab it on the acne locations to give a quicker boost in healing.
Aside from the this toner burning the sensitive areas on my skin and leaving that after sticky residue, I think this is a good product as I have noticed visual results in using. I can see that it is balancing my pH levels on the skin while diminishing areas of acne. Plus it has a faint scent of light lavender which is always calming. The price is a bit steep for my liking, at $25 for an 8oz bottle, but natural products come with a cost! I would love to try other items from the Maple Holistics beauty line. There are many great options!
