Crafting With Chalkboard Contact Paper by Ohuhu

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Making Chalkboard Art is big in the crafting world right now, whether it be by chalkboard paint or stickers, you can make some amazing projects for your home. The self-adhesive Chalkboard Contact Paper by Ohuhu is great for those easy diy projects where you don't want to wait on paint drying. The paper is made of Polyvinyl chloride and works just like a real chalkboard, being erasable with chalk. It even includes a cleaning cloth for wiping. This chalkboard sticker comes in a roll of 79" x 18" and it can be cut into your desired shape or size. This makes it great for a large wall piece, on table tops, or even cut into little jar labels. There are several possibilities you can use this chalkboard sticker for!

I have many ideas I want to use Chalkboard sticker's on... The couch side tabletop, Jar Labels, a wall sign for fun memo's... My first project I decided to do was to cover a cookie tin. This was fairly easy to do, but getting the creases and bubbles out was kind of tedious. It took just a few minutes to complete this project, and the outcome is simple yet cute. I used my own chalk to write, as the box did not have any in it as it should have :( But it worked! Slightly dissapointed though, because the chalk writing left the word scratched into the sticker so it is still visible even when erased. And in erasing, you have to get a cloth damp to clear the space. In another setting, I used Chalkboard Markers...which this was a bad idea because those do not wash off well at all. But overall, this Chalkboard Sticker is good for simple crafts, though I personally wouldn't use it as a wall board because of the chalk writing issues.

You can find the Ohuhu Chalkboard Wall Sticker available for purchase on Amazon for $9.99 and free shipping with Prime, or on orders over $35.
