Explore the magic of The Time Garden by Daria Song,
A Magical Journey and Coloring Book in one.
You can get lost in time inside the cuckoo-clock inspired world,
filled with clock gears, flowers, starry skies, and more.
The beautiful illustrations are yours to color, setting your own tone and emotion to the book. The story starts of a little girl who was so curious about the new antique Cuckoo Clock that arrived from Germany. She couldn't quite understand how a clock could run without batteries or electricity, so the little girl decided to explore. When the clock struck midnight, she climbed up to the cuckoo clock, only to find something that she never imagined she would see...a red haired fairy! And that, begins her journey into a beautiful world of time.
I love the introduction to The Time Garden. It is beautifully written and captures my imagination, longing for more of the story. Each page is full of intricate illustrations waiting to be colored, bringing the story to life. You get to let your imagination run wild, choosing the colors that were in this little girls Cuckoo Clock fantasy. It's like you get to be a part of creating this gorgeous book. Then it comes to a close, when the little girl wakes up and realizes everything she saw was gone. She asks herself, "Where was the red-haired fairy? What happened to the garden full of flowers and clocks?" and wonders if she was just dreaming. This is a beautiful book, really brings the artist out in you...However, I really wish there was more to the story!! I loved the authors writing, and though the coloring is fun, I do wish there were pieces to the story on every single page.
You can find The Time Garden available for purchase on Amazon for $8.79
