I love using Shea butter to make lotion for my husband and son's African curly hair type, as well as using it for a daily moisturizer on my face. I melt and mix the Shea butter with Coconut oil and sometimes other oils such as such as Argan or Lavender essential oils. Once all of the ingredients have melted and been mixed together, I pour it into a container and wait for it to solidify. You can use it as a liquid, but the cooler temperature the butter gets, it will become hard again. So if you order this product on a hot day, don't be surprised if it arrives melted! Mine did, but after sitting in a cooler area for a little bit, it hardened back to normal. The pouch that the Shea butter comes in is secure, as none of the product melted out, thankfully. All around, this is a wonderful product and it makes a fantastic moisturizer!
