When you're pregnant, you become curious from day one, what your growing baby will be. With the Momma Bear Baby Gender Reveal test kit, you can find out as early as 6 weeks into your pregnancy!
*Inside this kit there are:
2 test tubes, 2 no needle syringes, a small cup, and a 1pink and 1blue balloon.
2 test tubes, 2 no needle syringes, a small cup, and a 1pink and 1blue balloon.
It contains two tests so you can use them different days, or share with a friend!
The kit is simple to use, quite similar to some pregnancy tests. In the morning after waking up,
take the small cup, and catch a sample from your urine flow. Before opening the cap of the test tube, carefully tap the tube to settle the powder on the bottom of the tube, then you take the syringe to collect the urine, and squeeze it into one test tube, to the fill line. Securely replace the cap back on the tube and shake for ten seconds or until the powder is dissolved. If the liquid turns the color green,
it's a boy, if it turns the color purple, it's a girl! Easy as that. The results are 100% accurate half of the time...meaning just 50% accurate, although the back of the box in the photo on Amazon claims that their results have been highly accurate, I don't suggest you start purchasing gender specific items
until you get the Dr.'s confirmation on what the gender is.

To be honest, I was slightly dissapointed in this test. On Amazon, the photo's show the Momma Bear Baby Gender test box (photo to the left), so of course you assume it will come in the adorable little bear box. But it came in a cardboard package. (photo to the right) Nothing cute about it. Then I realized on Amazon, under the Legal Disclaimer it says "Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and different information than what is shown on our website." This seems dishonest and they shouldn't be advertising the box if they don't even use it.. At $19.99 on sale, (when it is normally $39.99+) I feel this test should come a bit more professional. Especially if you want to get it as a gift to give someone, the packaging isn't very appropriate. It seems like the price should more realistically be five dollars or less. Aside from the packaging, the test is a fun experiment, even if it is only 50% accurate. However, I do wonder if the results will ever turn purple for the testee who is pregnant with a girl, because the powder inside is blue, with only a tiny amount of pink. If you mix your yellow urine with the blue powder, it makes you think it will automatically turn green right? So it would be cool to get the results from a woman who already knows she is having a girl. That way you can see if this test would be legit,
and turn purple at some point. Though I'm not pregnant right now, this test will be so much fun
to experience. I'm just hoping that time will come soon! ;-)

ReplyDeleteHi, just saw this and wanted to comment. So I am 6 weeks pregnant I did one of the tubes on Thursday afternoon (not my FMU of course) and it came up green. Then Today Saturday I did it with my FMU and got a little darker green than the last time, but since I saved the first one to compare the colors once I pull it out I noticed it was completely purple... I did another brand gender reveal test on Thursday as well and shown I was having a girl so I am really confused hahaha we will see how accurate this tests are. Also I bought it from Amazon, and yes it doesn't come in the box they show and doesn't come with the balloons.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your pregnancy! I would love to know what the gender of your baby is once you find out! These tests are always fun but they definitely still keep you guessing :)
DeleteSome couples, though, do prefer one gender to the other, Maybe they hope to have a boy to carry on the family name or business. Some may think a girl is easier or more fun. Other couples may already have two or three boys, and want a girl for a change. Those couples can perfectly select baby gender by taking help from this website.
