Child Safety New Electrical Outlet Covers

Plug-ins always seem to be a number one interest in children. Something about the little holes in the wall that their fingers want to explore...They don't understand the safety, they're just curious and want to test things for themselves. We as the parent/guardian have to protect our children and child proof objects that they shouldn't get into. There are several good safety plug-ins to keep those little fingers out..some that children have learned to take off on there own...some that even adults have a hard time getting off...and some like the Child Safety New Electrical Outlet Cover. These are amazing. They're like little doors for your plug-in, that are easy to put on, by lining up the posts on the back of the cover with the opening of the walls double outlet. No tools are needed, it just firmly pushes into place and secures enough for it to be child resistant. The great thing about these covers is that they are paintable so you can paint them the same color of your wall and they will blend in! This provides a visual and physical barrier from keeping children away from the plugs!

I found that these covers are easy to apply and look great, not only in keeping kids out of the outlets, but to cover up any outlets you don't want shown either. The cover fits great into the outlet holes, sitting stable enough so children can't pull them out, but easy enough for you to pull them out when needed. I love that you can paint them to match your wall color too. Living in an apartment, we can't paint the walls, but once we have a place where we can paint, I will love this option. I love painting walls to bring color into your home but having a white/beige outlet cover on a purple wall sticks out like a sore thumb.
