The Dragon And The Turtle - Book Review

The Dragon And The Turtle Go On Safari is a book written for children that is suppose to teach them courage and to not be afraid...to lift up each other as friends would do. Getting this book, I expected it to be exciting and a good read for kids to be entertained. I read it to my three year old son and even he, did not seem to enjoy it as well. My son can sit through book after book because he just loves to be read to, but this book started losing his attention half way through. I felt the story did not have very much excitement or really, any much of a plot... The point to get across to children is to be courageous...I wouldn't have gotten that if it wasn't for the end run through. I do however, like that they posted a Bible verse at the end of the book, and the illustrations are just adorable. I wished the authors would have made the book a little more "Cutesy" and easier for children to understand. The greatest part was that my son kept thinking that,
Roger, the turtle, was Franklin from PBS :)
